Lovable Fish and Fishery Products, a Quality Management You Can Depend On
This is a guide to the fish and fishery products quality certification system by the Government and sanitary management task in order to provide sanitary and safety fish and fishery products to the consumers.

1. Objective
- Improving the quality of an excellent fish or fishery products with the attributes related to the geographical origins and protecting the consumers by promoting them as regional specialization business.

2. Concept
- Labeling that fish or fishery products is produced in a certain area if the reputation, quality and other attributes of fish and fishery products are due to the geographical characteristics of that certain area.

- Article 9 of Quality Control of Fishery Products Act
- Article 13 to Article 15 of enforcement decree of Quality Control of Fishery Products Act
- Article 17 to Article 21 of enforcement regulations of Quality Control of Fishery Products Act

4. Qualification for Application (Article 14 of Enforcement Decree)
- A corporate body comprised of more than one person who produce or process an excellent fish and fishery products, which possess certain geographical attributes. However, if the person, who is producing or processing, is comprised of 1 person, it doesn't have to be a corporate body to apply.

5. Commodities which could be Applied (Article 9 of the Act)
- An excellent fish or fishery products, which possess certain geographical attributes It is selected through the audit by the Council The current status of commodities registered for Geographical Indication
