□ The honey combs should be accompanied by an exporting country's Health Certificate which contains the information as follows:
1. The honey comb farms and(/or) facilities should meet the following requirements.
1.-1.Prior to the pre-embarkation quarantine, there shall have been no outbreaks of harmful mites such as Acaria spp., Varroa spp. and Tropilaelaps spp., etc for at least 2 years within a radius of 50km from the honey comb farm and(/or) facility of origin.
1.-2.Prior to the pre-embarkation quarantine, there shall have been no outbreaks of American foulbrood disease, European foulbrood disease, Nosemosis of bees, Chalkbrood disease, Sacbrood and bee paralysis for at least 2 years within a radius of 10km from the honey comb farm and(/or) facility of origin.
1.-3. The honey comb farms and(/or) facilities should have never introduced bees, their products and equipments from other bee farms which are not under sanitary control and direct supervision of the veterinary authorities of the exporting country. And the honey comb farms and(/or) facilities shall report immediately the case and suspected case of disease outbreaks to the veterinary authorities of the exporting country.
2. The honey combs shall be at the stage of development where eggs are not laid into.
3. The honey combs shall have been in no contact with live honey bees for the period of 7 days prior to shipment.
4. The honey combs shall be exposed to 25kGy or higher level of Cobalt-60 gamma radiation in a radiation center authorized by the exporting country, and the thickness of the honey comb shall be 100mm or less. The radiated honey combs shall be accompanied by an indicator displaying the results of radiation test.
5. The honey combs shall not contain foreign material inside such as larvas, pupas, adults (including bee carcass), bee parasites, vegetable material (honey, propolis, pollen, etc.), etc.
6. The honey combs shall be packed in sterilized airtight containers.
